Meet Coach Evie!

Hailing from Tulsa, OK and having previously earned degrees in Music Education, Oboe Performance, and Music History, my path into the field of strength & conditioning isn’t the most conventional.

I had no athletic background as a young person but spent the majority of my life thinking I was invincible. Upon losing both parents at young ages due to metastatic cancers, I was in search of an outlet. It was in early 2014 that I stumbled upon a local gym in St. Louis, MO offering an introductory month of classes. I attended the first class and quickly realized I wasn’t as invincible as I thought.

Feeling equal parts challenged and embarrassed, I traded in the one-month introductory membership for the unlimited class option. I was reminded of the Tom Hanks line in A League of Their Own, “It’s supposed to be hard. If it wasn’t hard, everyone would do it. The hard… is what makes it great!”

The hard WAS great… and I was seeing changes in myself I never thought possible.

An educator at heart, and with the unwavering support of my partner, I jumped right back in to school in pursuit of an Exercise Science degree. I knew I had to share this with others. Working in this field, empowering each other to be the best versions of ourselves, sets my heart on fire.

Regardless if you are new on your fitness journey or an experienced athlete looking for help breaking through plateaus, we are in this together – let’s get strong!
